25 THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT SECURITY GUARD Josh Naranjo

 

1. Born and raised in New Jersey "woah, livin' on a prayer!"

2. As a kid I really didn't like wearing glasses, kinda ironic because a lot of my family members are opticians.

3. I looked as a kid like Fred Savage of the Wonder Years show and had a huge crush on Winnie (Danica McKellar)

4. I have two younger brothers Gabriel and Jordan.

5. I was born left handed, but was taught growing up to be right handed, to this day I eat with my left, shoot pool with my left and write with both.

6. After high school I became an Ohio State Buckeye (Brian L. loves that part of me), since I was 14 I dreamed of going to the school there. GO BUCKEYES! O-H. . you say. . . I-O

7. My first job was working at a Pharmacy as clerk then I became a delivery driver for them. . . Would that have made me a drug delivery guy technically?

8. One of the best events with BSB was New Years Eve in Times Square. I watched the ball drop my entire life
on TV, but never thought I would be there and in the middle of it!

9. Since the 4th grade I started playing musical instruments and by high school I took up more seriously and wanted to become a professional tuba player (go ahead get your laughs out now.) It got me a scholarship to get me
into Ohio State.

10. I met my mentor and friend John "Q" Elgani while I working at Nationwide Area in Columbus.


11. My favorite milkshake is Wendy's Chocolate Frosty.

12. My first concert I ever attended was AC/DC and got the lucky spot of in front of speakers. . .I couldn't hear for three days afterward.

13. My second concert was BSB's The Black and Blue tour! I was 19 years old working in the pit. Go figure I would end up working for them as a bodyguard.

14. My favorite breakfast food is Bagels. If you ever visited NY/NJ you know we are proud of them.

15. As a kid I used to sneak away the bottle of maple syrup and eat it (just a good couple squeezes.) Does that make me part Canadian?

16. My first body guarding job was with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, followed by other artist such as Sum41 and The Weeknd

17. In 1998, I got to be in the New York Yankees Ticker Taper Parade on a float with the infield team, which should have been the highlight, but I think yelling for Mayor Rudy Giuliani and him coming over to sign my shirt topped it.

18. Sometimes I tell fans at meet n greet that Big Drew is my dad and he needs a hug. Best is when they actually hug him and they find out he isn't my dad.

20. My first car was a Volkswagen Passat, five days later I lost the engine and got a Ford Mustang.

21. Thanks to the Backstreet Boys and a few other artists I have visited over 50 countries.

22. In high school my senior year I worked for The US Census Bureau as a census taker in order to pay for the Prom weekend.

23. I am half Chilean and half Puerto Rican

24. As a kid I wanted to be President of The United States. Maybe I will run in 2020

25. If, I ever have children (girls) I will know every trick of the trade thanks to you Backstreet Fans!
