BSB Sing the National Anthem!
Multi-platinum pop group Backstreet Boys, with Tampa native Nick Carter, will perform the U.S. National Anthem prior to Game One of the 2008 World Series at Tropicana Field. Military personnel from the Tampa area will perform God Bless America in the seventh inning.
One of the most successful pop groups of all time, Backstreet Boys have sold close to 100 million records worldwide. Their first two U.S. releases, “Backstreet Boys” and “Millennium,” each received the Diamond Award for sales of more than 10 million, with “Millennium” selling nearly 500,000 copies on its first day.
