Backstreet Blows The Roof Off The Dallas Jingle Ball

Since the Backstreet Boys announced their Vegas shows (beginning in just 3 months), they’ve been popping up everywhere, giving the world a taste of what’s to come in the 3 month stint.

Last week, the Boys kicked off their holiday show run at KISS Jingle Ball in Dallas, TX where the audience was treated to a hit-filled 25 minute set that brought the crowd to its’ feet. Social media lit up with comments about how much fire the Backstreet Boys brought to the stage from the younger generation, who were there mainly to see fellow performers Charlie Puth and Fifth Harmony, to fans that have followed the group from the beginning.

“But no one had the crowd up and at 'em like the Backstreet Boys. The crowd, pacing themselves because that's what you do when set lengths demand only the hits, blew the roof off the place a few acts in when the group's upcoming set was announced,” wrote Dawn Burkes on Guide Live.

The good times didn’t stop in Dallas though. Our favorite five performed alongside co-headliners Britney Spears and Justin Bieber at 99.7’s Triple Ho Show in San Jose, CA. Their stellar performance had fans (and non-fans) purchasing tickets for the Larger Than Life Vegas experience from their seats.

“And these ‘Boys,’ who now range in age from 36 to 45, sounded so good that I wouldn’t be surprised if some fans didn’t even wait until the set was over before booking flights to Sin City,” wrote Mercury News of Saturday night’s show. “Chalk it up to the sharp dance moves, amazing vocal harmonies and oodles of star power the Backstreet Boys showcased as they moved through their six-song set, which opened in flamboyant fashion with ‘Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)’ and was highlighted by a stellar version of the 2005 comeback cut ‘Incomplete’.”

If you weren’t able to catch Kevin, Howie, Brian, AJ and Nick in Dallas, no worries! They’re playing two more shows on iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball tour. Get all the details here. Go see your boys!

Still can’t make any of the shows live? That’s okay, too! You can catch the 90 minute KISS Jingle Ball on December 15th at 8PM EST on The CW.

For now, check out the interview the Backstreet Boys did with Kidd Kraddick Morning Show backstage for a little tease about what YOU can expect in Las Vegas. See you there!
