I think we were all hoping BSB would add a meet and greet with the VIP tickets, but since it isn't we have to accept it as it is. Mixtape only guaranteed M&G with NKOTB and said we had access to "special addition OFFICIAL events." This may not be an official Mixtape event so we should just deal with it. I agree with @nickysgurl520, @tmnbsb, and @*RoCkiN*DaNi*. The guys are doing this on their own and we should appreciate it. Are any of the other performers going to be taking time to hangout with their fans? And as @*RoCkiN*DaNi* said, I wouldn't want to have to share the boys with everyone who bought VIP.

Well said Elizabeth (Nickysgurl520) We can all bitch and moan all day about the price but at the end of the day ur either gonna buy it or ur not. It's the way it is. They never said a M&G with the boys would be included in the VIPs for mixtape. Plus if u really think about it, how many VIPs have been sold?? A lot! So do we really want to share the boys with EVERYONE who bought VIP? Remember not every person who has VIP for mixtape is going for BSB. But if their ticket already includes a BBQ with the boys, then most ppl would go just to go. So since this is a seperate event it'll be just for BSB fans. We won't have to share the boys with a ton of other people. Just saying.

Yes. ALL VIP's include a meet and greet with NKOTB. All other meet and greets are set up through individual fan clubs and are not included through MixTape Festival VIP tickets.
I spent way too much money on a VIP for the event with the promise of other events added later. In fact someone even told us before we bought the tickets that NKOTB announced their events and they were waiting for the BSB event and that would be included with the VIP. So if that means we were lied to, I don't appreciate it. I do not have the extra money for this BBQ and if this means that I won't get to do the BSB section of this festival I'm going to be very VERY disappointed!

I agree with Nickysgurl520, the Mixtape VIP is for the festival itself and never gave any mention of meet and greets, etc with the Backstreet Boys themselves. The boys are doing this event as a side to the festival since they are already going to be there, the BSBBQ is not actually a part of the festival itself, therefore the VIP for the festival doesn't include the BBQ. That's why personally, I didn't feel the VIP tickets for the festival were worth the money because it didn't guarantee anything with BSB except the softball game. I think it's great the boys are taking time out of their day to put on this BBQ and spend time with fans when they could be enjoying Hersheypark itself. I also don't think the cost is all that expensive considering what VIP's cost for their concerts. If you are upset with having to pay for the BBQ after purchasing festival VIP tickets, then maybe you should be upset with the Mixtape Festival and not BSB or maybe you should read more closely as to what you are paying for.

This is just my opinion but I don't understand the big deal about having to pay the extra money for this BBQ. The VIP is for MIX-TAPE not the Boys! If you want VIP access to them, you'll have to pay for it just like we do on tour! Not to mention, NO ONE is FORCING anyone to buy VIP or buy tickets for this...if you want to go and can afford it, then GO! If you don't or can't, then DON'T! As far as complaining about the amount, while the food is pretty common, the Boys, their security and their management, etc. still need to be paid for their time...I don't mind it at all, and I will definitely be there! Keep in mind that they don't HAVE to do ANY of this!
