If this is like any other vacation I have done, you don't have to pay for the cruise porition up front and right away. It will be charged to a credit card on certain dates and a downpayment is needed right away. I don't know what that is but it's usually $200-400. Don't take my word for it, I'm just going on past experience.
Don't panic. They know people need details and they will come.
But just figure out the numbers yourself and set up limit. If the cruise is over that limit, don't go. If it's under that limit, go!
