    im flying in to fort lauderdale, its sooo much cheaper then flying into miami....and Fort lauderdale is only a half hour to 45 mins away from miami. Its not far at all. its worth saving the extra 200 bucks.

    Travelers holding a Norwegian passport seeking to enter the U.S. for business or pleasure for fewer than 90 days may be able to travel to the United States without a visa under the Visa Waiver Program.
    You will have to have a detailed list of places you intend to visit, people you intend to stay with, and approximate dates.
    You must have an address for your first night’s stay in the U.S.

    Visa Waiver Program (VWP) and Machine-Readable Passports (MRP)
    You DO NOT NEED a visa if:

    * You are a citizen of Norway and you have a Norwegian passport (not a "reisebevis" or "utlendingspass")

    * Your passport is machine-readable.

    * You have never been charged with or convicted of a crime in any country.

    * You have never been denied a U.S. visa.

    * You have never been deported from or denied entry into the U.S.

    * You are going for 90 days or less for business or pleasure.

    Hope this is helpful for other norwegians that are going on this cruise.

    There are a few documents that you have to get to enter the U.S. I've read. I'm going to get started on them soon in case there are any hold ups.
    Something like a Travel Authorisation Number and/or VISA waiver program... I don't know, it's all so confusing. I may have to go to a travel agent for that.

    There are some new regulations since the last time I was in the US. At that time, I only needed to renew my passport (electronic). But now I think I have to apply for a visa, which for norwegians usually isnt a big deal if you dont have a criminal record.
