Thrilled to see one of my videos here! For me it's a great gift to see other fans appreciating them that much and to know they mean something to them. <3
I only ever got to go to two of their concerts before I graduated high school in 2000. I haven't been able to afford to go since, but I have so much memorabilia! T-shirts, concert photos (never got to go to a meet & greet), I have all of the action figures from Burger King (& a crown), lunch boxes (which aren't big enough to carry an actual lunch lol), all sorts of posters and keychains. Of all of the things mentioned in the article and by people commenting, I have three things that weren't mentioned by anyone: the Backstreet Project comic book, the Around the World Tour board game and piano music books (for the albums Backstreet Boys, Millennium & Black and Blue)!!!
I loved reading about everyone's items! If I had something that no one else had (the truly rare items) those would by my most prized possessions also!
I am 34 and still have my collection of over 50 cds (back in the day when you could buy a physical cd single haha) I have a few videos I still need to convert to DVD. The thing I hold close to my heart is all the memories I had while meeting them here in Australia, first on the Black and Blue promo tour and then every tour I just happen to be at the same hotel (hahah purely by chance of course!!) I get alot of crap for being a fan still, but people dont understand. I love how BSB interact with their fans, back in my day we only had yahoo chatrooms, so Im loving twitter/facebook and periscope! I would never part with any of my cds/videos/poster books, I love getting them out from time to time and going down memory lane! I must say, all the other bsb fans i have met, not just from Australia, are pretty damn awesome!
Those concerts are all available on dvd now :) I purchased mine through amazon
I have a pretty large memorabilia collection. But probably my favorite is the guitar pick Nick gave me at the IAWLT concert in Moose Jaw, SK, Canada. Something I never would have expected to get, but something I will cherish forever!
My most recent and priceless possessions collections are my IAWLT autographed CD (my very first one), a glow stick that Nick gave me at one of the After Parties in Vegas for the IAWLT summer tour, and my BEAUTIFUL picture with Nick (and Jordan Knight) for the Nick And Knight show in L.A., aside from that my magazines , posters, Nick's book, calendars, t shirts, CD's, the Selfie Brian took with my camera, all my pics from the walk of fame, and last but not least ALL the beautiful people that I'm glad to call friends that I've met in recent years thanks to our love for the boys KTBSPA always
There's so much to pick from. Knowing I was way behind on all of this but when first getting see BSB on their second leg of the US tour for in a world like this: My t-shirt, tickets & pictures that I took. :)
OMG... some of these brought back some memories! I have a box of BSB VHS that I can't part with - A Night Out, All Access, Live from Frankfurt, Backstreets Back Live From Orlando and several more. Should see about getting those converted. Is that even possible?? Hope so!
