Wow. Thanks everyone for posting info and critiques about the show. I still haven't bought a copy. I hope to get one someday, though. If i can find one. Anyway, I had no idea it was so short, but I still can't wait to see it!
Glad most have gotten their copies,it sold out pretty quickly than the next batch they put up also sold out pretty quickly.
I bought mine of course =)
The only actual bad part about the movie is the baby. LOL it looks COMPLETELY fake hahahaha. But at least it was funny.
Cool!!!!

I was one of the first people to see Nick's movie when I went to the screening in Toronto and got the autographed dvd. I love it! I was so honoured to be a part of his special day. Nick, you're a GENIUS! xoxo
Here's my little critique. Truly not bad at all for a first piece of filmmaking. Some technical problems with maintaining even sound quality-couldn't understand all of the dialog because the vocals seemed garbled in places. Also the light--too much shadow on the faces in the bed scene. And yes, I really could have done without the reference to being on the rag. Gross high school mentality there. Nick by far the best actor in the film, says it all. And dude, a hotel room for an apartment? Now if he had filmed in an historic hotel in Nashville, or Charleston, or anywhere, there would have been more ambiance.
The storyline concept though isn't bad for a 15 minute short film. Just enough to make you wish there were MORE. This 15 minute synopsis could actually be expanded to a full length feature with the historical story told, the present day character/relationship developed more fully, and the ending magnified more horrifically.
It isn't going to win any prizes for acting or filmmaking-but first efforts rarely EVER do. But not as bad as I feared. Potential. I applaud him and encourage him to keep on going with this!!!
