It's been a while since I have been on here, but I was so disappointed and angry with how the afterparty was handled, that I had to comment on this. I emailed clubzone right after the event, because it was a disaster. I paid $40 to be squished inside a nightclub and to get yelled at and threatend to be thrown out when I wanted to take a pic of the boys ( from outside the VIP area ). I have been to Bsb afterparties before, so I didn't expect to meet them or hang out with them, but at least I expected to take pics of the boys while they are there. The staff was rude and treated the fans without any respect. I received the contact information of the promoter, who ironically denied they ever advertised that a "meet & greet" or photo op would take place. How can you deny something that was so openly advertised ( I even have the flyer downloaded ). It was false advertisement and a dirty way to make some money. I am really disgusted about how this all went down.
should have known ENVY does NOT know how to promote anything. they claimed they sold out on tickets and that club was more empty than any other weekend night. my gf waited in line to get into the club and waited to see the boys but when they had already stopped letting people into the vip area but bouncers chose not to let everyone know.
not only should the promoting team take blame for such an unorganized event, but bsb should have spent more time with some non-vip members who are actual fans that rushed over after the concert to see them. boys, you were a disappointment
where do we find our soundcheck group pics anyways anyone know?? This is Paul Dhaliwal from the Vancouver BC soundcheck VIP..... thanx
its tto bad even though i got to sing at the soundcheck Iwant it that way and sang it again at the end of the concert thanx to Howie.... the after party sucked a** knowing they had alot of paid fans lookin forward to talk and let them know we had a blast at the concert.... oh well welcum to it not much you can do for a 35 dollar ticket..... lol!!!
It's not worth phoning to complain. I did and then did some 'research'. The owner of the club said that they took over management 2 days before but I found on a website that they have been managing the club for 5 years. The guy in charge of the after party is friends with the managers and the head guy in charge of the after party advertised it on Facebook for all of his friends to attend. It seemed like this after party was not even geared to us FANS but to friends of the club and promoters.
Would you be able to email me that phone number? I would like to complain as well. We bought tickets because it was advertised as a photo + autograph session. Very disappointed with how the after party turned out.
@BSBinmyheart, I paid money for my tickets so I expected that the after party would live up to what it promised and it didn't. I phoned the venue today and they told me that a) I was the 10th person to complain and that 2) it wasn't the venues fault but the promotor's fault. The manager at the night club was very nice on the phone and gave me the promotor's phone number and personal email address to complain. I would like to get my money back but I don't think that will happen.
I bought tix according to a guestlist too... guestlist doesnt mean you dont have to pay in this case of an afterparty... and I don't think it's the venue's fault that they were slated to meet people and sign stuff and they didn't...
It was awful! I bought my tickets in advanced and I just caught a glimpse of Howie, AJ,and Nick.. Apparently they were letting in friends of the BSB and people on the guest list. The guy who sold me the ticket said I would meet them, but I didn't. It was very disorganized and people were jammed pack and complaining how disorganized it was. I left after an hour. I would never do an after party ever again-I'll just upgrade my VIP from silver to gold so I can get an individual photo with them.
