I'm from Brazil and I've bought a dvd from Japan, and it worked in my dvd played and in my laptop normally. So don't care about it!
I may have to buy this it can play on my laptop!
For those who live in Europe, check your DVD players because I read online that most of Europe plays region 2, same as japan. So stop complaining! It's us fans in the US and Canada that are screwed. I wonder if my laptop will play it?

Why can't they just release a US version and make this easier and cheaper?
if you go to amazon.co.jp (not click on the link from here) on the right-hand side near the top of the page it says click for english... hope that helps
just noticed that it is only releasing June 16 - that is really far :( but I have pre-ordered my copy so will be eagerly counting down the days till it gets here....
pfff ,that's a lot of money. 70 euro's for the deluxe version... I'll have to wait. Maybe it will be cheaper in a while
