Guys don't take it personally about them saying the US is a No fan land, they know they have amazing fans here too and they are only saying the truth, they aren't as bombarded as they were when they were really popular, don't take offense to it. I am sure the boys didn't mean it in a mean way. You know they love of their fans.

i was really upset when they said the us is no fan land. if only they could hear the stories us fans go through to see them not excluding fans in other countries either. but i kind of get what their saying but on the other hand why? the music in the us is always changing and everytime you turn around there's a new artist. i don't know how it is in the other countries if the music changes all the time or if it stays the same. but i still love them and diehard fan. but maybe they should of phrased it another way.

@KforKaos- Don't feel that way =P Your initial reactions just showed that you are a true BSB fan!!! =P

    Ok...if I could, I'd delete what I said earlier.
I too love that the mania has died down here in SoCal.
I didn't watch the interview, b/c I'm at work, but I was told by a friend that they said that...
really wish there was a delete option b/c I feel stupid.

I laughed when they called the US as "No Fan Land" because it's true... as in they aren't as bombarded here in US compared to other countries. They aren't saying that they don't have die-hard fans... it's just they can get around here without security and being mob.

Personally, I enjoy that BSB-mania is calmer here is Southern California. I don't have to fight for seats at the Bonnie Hunt Show, look around for good tickets at a HUGE venue like Staples Center for twice the money, etc...

When I tell my co-workers, friends that I'm doing something BSB-related, their response is, "Are BSB still around?" and similiar comments. They aren't being rude... just honest.

@ KforKaos I understand what you're saying, it is hard to hear and even kinda painful to hear them say things like that about their "home" fans. But you also have to remember, they started off abroad in 93. Then they came home in 97 and started all over. Their UK fans, their international fans in general have always been very supportive, more so than us. I can't fathom why though because you would think we'd pull it together for a group that hailed from our own country, but their fans from other countries still love them so much, whereas here, so many new acts have come out and a new genre of music has really started to make a wave. Not that we've forgotten them or betrayed them because the true fans never would do that, but some of the fans aren't quite as crazy about them as they were when they were younger, some people just grew out of it. I'm not sure of the ratio between US fans and international fans going on the cruise, but I can almost guarantee you that there will be more of them than us. They are flying in from all over the world, Spain, Russia, the UK, Austria, Aulstralia, China, Japan, just to go on a 4 day cruise and hopefully meet them for a few minutes with 1200 other fans. How many of us (the US fans) can honestly say that if they were having this cruise in a different country, that we wold fly 16 hours or longer to another country where we don't speak the language well or at all, just to go on a cruise? I wouldn't have been able to go if that had been the case. I love the Boys, always have, always will, been a fan for 13 years, but that is real dedication right there. The US fans are dedicated, but I'm not sure that they are THAT dedicated. I think that is what the Boys meant by that comment. Hopefully once they see how many US fans show up on the cruise, we'll change their perspective, and it did hurt to hear them say that. But I can see it from their point of view too. I wouldn't take it too personally. They know we loved them way back when, they just don't realize how much we still love them.
