My first memory of BSB was Christmas of 97 when I was 7 years old. I had gotten a cassette player for Christmas and my mom bought 3 cassettes to go with it: a Disney Sing-a-Long, Spice Girls, and this group called the Backstreet Boys. 7 year old me decided to try the one with the cute boys on the front and We’ve Got it Goin On started playing...the rest is history. My first memory of seeing the boys in person is 9/18/99 for the Millenium tour. I touched Howie’s hand and then coming in on those hoverboards blew my 9 year old self’s mind. A night I will never forget!

My 1st memory of backstreet boys was seeing them on a UK television programme called smash hits poll winner party in 1995 I would have been 15yrs old then. They won an award for the best new tour act from what I can remember they sang I'll never break your heart and it stayed in my head. My 2nd memory was my best friend lending me a cassette tape (Yes a cassette tape) of we've got it going on which I couldn't stop listening too. I first saw them live at Wolverhampton Civic Hall on the 19th of November 1996.

The first memory that I can recall was when I was around 11 or 12 while watching the Disney Channel. It was mid-October and in between shows they were playing music videos related to Halloween. I remember watching the Everybody video for the first time and I was mesmerized by the storyline, visuals and of course…the cute boys haha. I fell in love with the video so much that later that week I tagged along with my mom to the local drugstore because I knew they had a video rental section. I rented the All Access VHS and watched it repetitively until it had to be returned. I’ve been hooked ever since!

What's your first memory of the Backstreet Boys?
My first memory of BSB was when I was when I was in grade 6, age 11. There used to be a show that came on every Friday night called the Hit List, where they'd play the top 20 music videos that were popular, have celebrity interviews, etc. I can recall watching and seeing We've Got it Going On come on for the first time. By mid song I was bopping my head along and smiling like a fool every time "the guy with the glasses" came back into view. I can remember having the song stuck in my head all week and asking my mom to take me to HMV so I can get their cassette tape. It was a done deal from then. Every week I would watch, waiting for my boys to come on and having screaming fits every time their songs would get to number 1. Twenty two years later, I still scream like a little girl every time I hear my boys on the radio and still smile like a fool every time I see AJ a.k.a "the guy with the glasses."

My first memory of BSB was in 1996 when i first heard the song Get Down. I was in high school at that time. I remember that we had an intramurals coming up in our school and the 2nd year students were given the tasked to dance in the opening ceremony. I was the one who suggested to our PE teacher to use the song GET DOWN and groove to its danceable beat. And when it was decided to be use, i was fortunate to be given an incentive because of the suggestion. From then on, i became an avid fan!????

My first memory of BSB were in 1994 when my uncle had an audio cassette and have some NKOTB songs on the Side A, then on the Side B, I heard for the first time the song Tell Me That I'm Dreaming and for this moment, I loved the voice and the songs. Please let me be the BSB Soldier of November! It's my birthday! Thank you!

My first memory of BSB was seeing "We've Got It Goin' On" for the first time in 1996 and actually thinking it was NKOTB trying to come back! When I realized I didn't recognize any of the guys, I was already hooked on the song and couldn't wait for more from them!

My first memory of BSB was 1998. I don't remember the exact date, but I remember it was during the fall. I'd just started second grade. I remember my sister listening to them and trying to memorize the lyrics to quit playing games [and being proud when I finally did]. I also remember her taking me to get their first CD in the US. then later that year I remember making my own dance routines to their songs. Especially if you want to be a good girl and hey Mr DJ. LOL So many good memories. I'm excited for more memories on the #bsbcruise2018

My first memory of The Backstreetboys was in Oct of 97. I was 12 years old and was just really getting into liking my own type of music. It was early Saturday morning and I was flipping through the channels when I turned on MTV and saw quit playing games with my heart video. Instantly I was attracted to the blonde one (Nick) but loved the harmonies of all 5. I told my mom about the video and that I really liked the song. Three days later she comes home with The Backstreet Boys cassette. I was so excited and began playing it. From then on I was hooked ! I’m pretty sure we wore out If you want to be good girl get yourself a bad boy . Me and my mom loved that song and would blast it everytime we were in the car lol
